Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

Promptobi is a web application operated by its founding team from Argentina. This policy explains what data we collect, what we use it for, and what rights you have over it. It applies to users in any country, including residents of the European Union (GDPR) and California, USA (CCPA).

2. What data we collect

  • Account data: email and, if you use Google Sign-In, your name and avatar.
  • Content: the prompts, notes, categories and attachments you upload.
  • Usage data: events about how you use the app (e.g. prompt created, prompt used, destination opened). They include your user identifier, event name and timestamp. They do not include the textual content of your prompts.
  • Technical data: device type, browser, language and approximate country (via Plausible Analytics, no cookies).
  • Onboarding: optional answers you give us at signup (role, goal, how you found us).

3. What we use your data for

  • To provide the Service (store and display your prompts).
  • To improve the app by understanding which features are used most and where there is friction.
  • To communicate with you about your account or important changes.
  • To comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell your data to third parties. We do not use the content of your prompts to train AI models or for advertising.

4. Who we share data with (sub-processors)

We use third-party services to operate the app. We only share the data that is necessary:

  • Lovable Cloud (Supabase): account, prompts and events storage. Privacy policy ↗
  • Lovable AI Gateway (Google, OpenAI): processing of prompts when you use AI features (Magic Improve, Assistant). Content sent to the AI is processed but is not stored by our providers for training. Google ↗ · OpenAI ↗

5. How long we keep your data

We keep your data while your account is active. If you delete a prompt it goes to the trash for 30 days and is then erased. If you delete your account, we erase your personal data within 30 days, except for what we are required to retain by law.

6. Your rights

You have the right to:

  • Access the data we hold about you.
  • Correct inaccurate data.
  • Delete your account and associated data.
  • Export your prompts in a readable format (JSON), from Settings → Export my data.
  • Object to certain data processing activities.
  • Withdraw your consent at any time.

7. California residents (CCPA / CPRA)

If you reside in California, in addition to the general rights described above, you have the right to:

  • Know what personal information we collect about you and how we use it.
  • Delete your personal information.
  • Opt out ("Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information").
  • Non-discrimination for exercising these rights.

We do not sell or share your personal information with third parties for commercial or advertising purposes. In the last 12 months we have not sold any user's personal information.

8. Cookies and similar technologies

We only use strictly necessary technical cookies to maintain your session and authenticate you (managed by Lovable Cloud). We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. Plausible Analytics, our metrics provider, does not use cookies and complies with GDPR without requiring a consent banner.

9. Security

We use encryption in transit (HTTPS) and at rest, secure authentication, and row-level security (RLS) rules that ensure only you can see your data. We check passwords against public breach databases (Have I Been Pwned). Even so, no system is 100% secure.

10. Minors

The Service is not directed to children under 13 years old (or 16 in the EU). We do not knowingly collect data from minors. If you discover that a minor is using the app, let us know so we can delete the account.

11. Changes to this policy

If we materially change this policy, we will notify you by email or inside the app before the changes take effect.
